In this section you will find all the answers to the most frequently asked questions from our customers.

How do I book my stay?

For bookings by request for quote: When you receive the email containing the quote, click on the "Your offer" button. A web page will open with our proposals, select the proposal you wish to book and click on "Accept proposal". Fill in all the required fields.
For continue with the reservation:

  • By bank transfer:
    click on the "NEXT" button at the bottom right and then on the summary screen click on "CONFIRM" .
    We will send you aoption email with instructions to follow and your payment details. After making the payment, you will receive a booking confirmation email containing a short summary and a request for online check-in.
    Attention! The booking option is valid for 48 working hours from receipt of the option email, after which time, if no response is received from the customer, the option will be cancelled.
  • By payment card (e.g. Visa, Postepay) :
    you can request payment by credit card via the chat on the quote page and then you will receive the link (valid for 24 hours) to make the payment.

For online bookings via the website: Click on "Check availability", fill in the required fields and click on "Check". This will open our online booking system where you can check the availability of the property and choose to book the type of stay and services you prefer independently. Enter the requested data and proceed with the payment via electronic circuit. After making the payment, you will receive a booking confirmation email containing a short summary and a request for online check-in.

Can I pay by bank transfer?

By sending us a request for a quote via the "Request Quote" section of our website, you can accept the proposal you will receive by email and make the payment by bank transfer. 

Can I pay by credit card?

For continue with the reservation using a payment card (e.g. Visa, Postepay), you can make the request to the structure via chat within the quote page or you can make your reservation directly on our online reservation system.

How come I received the online check-in request?

In your booking confirmation email, you received the online check-in request, to be completed in every field, to complete the booking process and allow you to speed up the check-in process upon arrival. When we receive your online check-in, the reservation is complete and we will send you a reservation summary email.

Can I make reservations with an arrival and departure date other than Saturday?

In Bungalows and Mobile Homes we only accept stays with arrival and departure on Saturdays, except the period A where stays of a minimum of three nights are permitted.

At the campsite we accept stays with arrival and departure on any day of the week.

What is the minimum stay for early bookings?

The minimum stay for advance bookings in accommodation units is 7 nights except for period A where the minimum stay is 3 nights. In camping, the minimum stay for advance bookings is 3 nights, except for the period D where the minimum stay is 7 nights.

Can I book several accommodation units or pitches at once?

It is possible to receive a single quote for several accommodation units or pitches, but when booking you will need to send as many quote requests as there are accommodation units/pitches required. Each family will receive the quote, accept the solution they prefer and continue with the booking.

What is the maximum capacity of the accommodation units?

Larger units accommodate up to a maximum of 5 people.

What is the maximum capacity on the pitch?

Standard and large pitches can accommodate a maximum of 6 people.

Half pitches can accommodate a maximum of 2 people.

From what time can I check in?

Accommodations will be delivered between 16:30 and 21:30 on the day of arrival. Check-in will be possible during these hours.
Camping, Acceptance and check-in are possible from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00.

By what time can I check out?

Accommodations must be vacated by 10 a.m. on the day of departure. Late check-out is not possible.

Pitches must be vacated by 10:00 a.m. in order to avoid an additional day's charge. Late check-out is not possible.

If I arrive at the facility before the handover time, can I already use the facility's services?

You must check in before you can enter the property. We kindly ask you to respect the arrival times at the property (from 16:30 onwards), so that the staff has time to thoroughly clean and sanitise the accommodation units you will be occupying.

Can external guests be received in accommodation units?

It is not permitted in any way access in accommodation units to guests who are not staying in the facility (external guests) because they are not registered as lodgers with the competent authorities.

Can external guests be received on the pitch?

It is not permitted in any way access to the pitch by guests who are not staying on the property (external guests) because they are not registered as lodgers with the competent authorities.

Do you have an identification system for guests in the facility?

On arrival, each guest will receive an identification bracelet which they are required to wear throughout their stay.

Can I take my dog on holiday with me?

In camping area is accepted one animal per crew and only small or medium-sized animals are allowed.  Under no circumstances may animals be left unattended.

In certain masonry bungalows is accepted one animal. Under no circumstances should animals be left unattended inside the accommodation unit or on the veranda.

Animals are not allowed in the mobile home

Are barbecues allowed on the pitch or on the verandas of the accommodation units?

It is strictly forbidden to light fires of any kind in the pinewood. The use of barbecues is permitted exclusively in the area provided for guests.

Can I park my car on the pitch?

It is not possible to park your car on the pitch, but vehicles (cars and motorbikes) will only have access to the parking area. The camping area is pedestrianised. Each car will be given a pass on arrival to be displayed on the windscreen to facilitate the control at the entrance of the campsite.

Are the units air-conditioned?

All our accommodation units, Bungalows and Mobile Homes, are air-conditioned.

Do the housing units have a TV?

There are no televisions in the accommodation units, but all bungalows and mobile homes have TV connections for guests who wish to bring their own.

Do the units have equipment for small children?

Bed rails and high chairs are available on request (subject to availability).

Is the animation suitable for all ages?

The activities organised by our entertainment team involve all our guests, adults and children alike.

Do you pay for hot showers at the campsite?
All hot and cold showers in the camp's facilities are free of charge.
Do dishwashing sinks have hot water?

Dishwashing sinks do not provide hot water.

Do you have Wi-Fi?
The accommodation units and pitches do not have Wi-Fi, but you can connect for free to the Wi-Fi network in the club area.
Do you have sports fields?

We have two sports fields for volleyball and five-a-side football.

Are barbecues allowed on the pitch or on the verandas of the accommodation units?

It is strictly forbidden to light fires of any kind in the pinewood. The use of barbecues is permitted exclusively in the area provided for guests.

Do you provide airport or station transfers?

The requested service is not provided directly by the structure, but through collaboration with external agencies. You will find the references on the "External Services" page.

Can I book with half or full board?

The hotel does not offer half or full board, but you can use our pizzeria or our gastronomy service with payment on consumption directly at the hotel.

How much does access to the pool cost?

Access to the pool is free for our guests at all times.

Are there any rules in the pool?

Diving is not permitted in the pool and swimming caps and showers are required before entering the pool. For more information, please consult the pool regulations.

Can minors enter the pool unaccompanied?

Minors may only enter the pool if accompanied by an adult, except during the times when minors are participating in the entertainment activities and are therefore under the supervision of the entertainment team.

How far is the campsite from Torre dell'Orso?

Sentinella Village Camping is located in Torre dell'Orso, about 200 m from the centre.

How far is the campsite from the beach? Can it be reached by bike or on foot?

Sentinella Village Camping is located about 900 m from the Torre dell'Orso Bay (sandy) where there are both lidos and public beaches. The beach can be easily reached on foot or by bicycle.

Do you have a beach service?

We do not have beach services or agreements with equipped lidos..

How far is the nearest supermarket?

There is a small market on the campsite for basic necessities.

The nearest supermarket in Torre dell'Orso is about 150 m away.

Are there public transport links to other places to visit?

The "Salento in bus" runs throughout the Salento region. At this link, http://www.provincia.le.it/web/provincialecce/trasporti you can view timetables and routes.

Is there a hospital near the facility?

The nearest hospitals are in Lecce and Scorrano. The nearest medical services are in Torre dell'Orso (in Piazza della Luna) and San Foca.

Is there a pharmacy near the facility?

The pharmacy is located approximately 400 m from the property. A parapharmacy is located a short distance from the pharmacy.
